International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8th every year. It is a day to recognize women’s achievements, to reflect on progress made, and renew our efforts in achieving gender equality – in Canada and around the world. The theme for 2019 is #BalanceForBetter, a push for professional and social equality.
As a woman-owned business in a male-dominated industry, this day is significant to PureLogic. March 8th is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of women including our founder – Coreen Bouchard.
This Friday, Coreen is attending and participating at the 2019 International Women’s Day on Parliament on behalf of Elevate International and the All-Party Parliamentary Women’s Caucus.
Elevate International is an organization dedicated to inspiring, empowering, and elevating girls and women both locally and globally. They strive to advance women in leadership and economic empowerment and help them fulfill their potential impact on our economy and society.
Led and organized by Solange Tuyishime CEO of Elevate International, the event aims to empower the female workforce through education and the advancement of inclusive, responsible and effective leadership and mentorship.
