PureLogic IT is proud to announce a strategic partnership with hex-rays, the world leader in binary analysis tools for the IT security market. hex-rays’ IDA/IDA-PRO toolset is now available to the Federal Government via the Software Licence Supply Arrangement (SLSA) and PureLogic IT Solutions.
IDA Pro is a powerful disassembler capable of creating maps of their execution to show the binary instructions that are executed by the processor in a symbolic representation. Advanced techniques have been implemented into IDA Pro so that it can generate assembly language source code from machine-executable code and make this complex code more human-readable.
hex-rays’ IDA/IDA-PRO ideal for federal government customers with software disassembly / de-compilation requirements including:
- Software Security Assessments
- Digital Forensics
- Penetration Testing
- Dynamic Analysis & Debugging
The latest version of the hex-rays tools have been updated to handle Apple’s latest changes to the internal format of the core OS files, particularly the DYLD Shared Cache (DSC). Their Mach-O loader and the helper DSCU plugin have been updated to handle this seamlessly and the debugging in the new OS versions.
“Partnership with industry leaders to address real-world requirements is a core value at PureLogic. hex-rays has unique abilities to address our government’s Digital Forensic requirements across many use cases in all departments,” says PureLogic IT’s founder, Coreen Bouchard.
“Strategic partnerships are key in addressing the needs of our customers to ensure continued growth. This connection between Hex-Rays and PureLogic ensures that our customers are our main focus and that each customer finds the correct solution.” Stephane Pilette, hey-rays’ Business Development Manager.
